Reinventing ourselves with homemade cairn lamps

We have fallen on hard times like many others. We sold "the big house" as my kids put it and moved into smaller quarters. I love this place. It has a fabulous wide open yard with a pond that we built a Cairn fountain in. Long story short. My kids missed the big place, it was a Post and Beam. Very earthy. So, in our attempts to make a living with our lamps (going a little slow) I decided to bring them into our home so the children would be able to touch and feel them and perhaps understand why Mom and Dad were drawn to do this. I love them. They love them. The lamps make even the simplest of spaces feel more grounded. We have sold some at different craft fairs and take solice in knowing those who purchased them felt the connection as well. We also have made and sold birdbaths and out door cairn drinking fountains. Our kids loved the outdoor drinking fountain. They dont need to come inside for a glass, track up the house with dirt or take the time out from their outdoor activities. Its such an old fashion great idea - funny how good ole things keep coming back. Thats it. Thats my story. Thanks for listening.
